It’s Wednesday and that means we get to talk wardrobe! Have you realized yet that I LOVE styling your sessions? We have curated a beautiful wardrobe that photographs perfectly and coordinates with almost any decor when your prints are framed and hanging in your home. (After all, isn’t that the whole purpose of having photos made? You get to enjoy them on your walls every day!)

Tristian and Nora made my work easy. They’re both beautiful and what a precious connection between a Momma and her baby! Momma, I hope you look at these photos for years to come and remember exactly how it felt to snuggle and dance with your baby.

I get lots of questions about wardrobe and where we shop so since it’s Wardrobe Wednesday, I thought I’d share a couple of our favorite wardrobe additions. (These change constantly since we’re always adding new pieces!) ;) Both of these mom dresses are from Baltic Born. I love styles that can be on or off the shoulder as shown in the first option. And the white dress with the light blue floral pattern is just dreamy. Take a look at the beautiful way if flows in the last photo. The white dress that Nora is wearing is from Amazon. (Who doesn’t love Amazon?!!) And the beautiful blue dress that ties at the shoulders is from Indie Blue. If you’re looking for clothing for a beach session, you can definitely find it there!

The best part of a newborn session for us is witnessing the love and joy that a new baby brings. And the baby snuggles aren’t half bad either. ;) Every newborn session includes family and sibling shots.

Often times, Savannah and I are among the first few people to meet your new baby and that is an honor that we don’t take lightly. Everything that we do is with your baby’s comfort in mind. Curled up and swaddled posing is our favorite because it’s the most natural for baby.

Every session with Baker and his family brought such joy! He’s the happiest, sweetest little guy. Baker is a KKP First Year Collective member and we were able to document some of his sweetest milestones - newborn, 6 months and 1st birthday.

We designed a story wall and his parents purchased frames that evolved into a beautiful design after his 1st birthday session design & ordering appointment. Their story wall grew with each session and I’m so honored that they chose us to capture these sweetest moments.

What I’m most excited about is that this family gets to enjoy their photos every single day. Your photos were never meant to live forever on a USB drive.

We begin with a photo of the wall in your home where you’d like to see your frames. You want it to be a space that you see every day!

We started with a family photo and two individual shots of baby Baker.

At Baker’s 6 month session, we added 3 photos of him… there were SO many favorites that it was hard to choose. But you’re not in front of a computer screen staring blankly and trying to figure out what to do. We’re right by your side helping you along the way.

Finally, Baker’s 1st year story wall is complete. His family gets to see him grow through the frames on their walls. We moved one newborn photo and one 6 month photo to Baker’s nursery to create his beautiful story wall complete with frames from his newborn session, 6 month session and 1st birthday session. Just look at him grow!
