The First Year Collective is a full-service photography experience designed to thoughtfully document your baby’s first year, with comfort, consistency, and legacy at the heart of it.

The First Year Collective is a guided photography experience that begins with a newborn session and continues through your baby’s first year with milestone sessions along the way.

Each session builds on the last, creating a cohesive story of your baby’s first year—one that reflects their personality, your family, and this fleeting season of life.

Many families begin during pregnancy or shortly after their baby is born so planning feels easy and everything is handled ahead of time.

Every First Year Collective includes:

• A newborn session
• Milestone sessions throughout the first year

• Design appointments after each session

Heirloom albums and framed artwork are purchased separately at each ordering appointment.

Each First Year Collective is designed with an heirloom album in mind—one that brings together your newborn session and milestone sessions into a single, cohesive keepsake. Rather than separate books or loose images, this album tells the story of your baby’s first year from beginning to end.

This is the album your child will one day pull off the shelf. The one little hands will flip through. The one that helps them see themselves—how small they were, how deeply they were loved, and how their story began.

Every album is thoughtfully designed in-house, printed with care, and created to last for generations. It’s not just a collection of photographs—it’s the beginning of your family’s legacy.

Many families choose to include the First Year Collective album as the cornerstone of their finished artwork. There is a 36 image minimum for First Year Collective albums.

When to Join the First Year Collective

The best time to join the First Year Collective is during pregnancy or shortly after your baby is born.

Many families begin with their maternity or newborn session and continue through key milestones such as sitting, crawling, and first birthdays. I accept a limited number of First Year Collective families each year to ensure flexibility and consistency across sessions.

Planning ahead allows us to move through the year calmly, without rushing or scrambling to schedule.

First Year Collective Investment

Session fees begin at 800 for a 3 session collective or 950 for a 4 session collective, with artwork and digital images purchased separately after each session.
