What happens next? | Mississippi Newborn, Child & Family Photographer

So what happens next... after the session?  Once your images are ready to view, we schedule a viewing & ordering appointment.  This is where the excitement really begins.  You get to view all of your images on the TV in the studio.  This means that what you're seeing up there is about the same as a 24x36 sized print.  It completely helps to visualize how images will look on YOUR wall.  We start with a comfy seat and a drink from the stocked fridge.Once the slideshow has ended and you've seen the sample room views that I've included at the end, you're free to take a look at the prints on the wall.  You'll get to view some of my favorites from your session printed as 5x7s in 8x10 mats.  Then we will go over all of the products.   I'll guide you through the full pricing menu and you'll get to touch and feel all of the ways that YOU can showcase your own images.  I snapped this shot of the top of my price menu and I'm still in shock... 15 years in business this year.  I absolutely love working with you.

It's awesome working with images from your home to create a custom wall gallery just for you!

We will go over wall art versus albums, books & image boxes.

Clients often choose an album or image box and add wall art.  If you choose wall art, we have gorgeous frame options available from Cummings Wood Products.  Placing your frame order means that your images are ready for the wall when they're picked up or delivered!  How exciting! And choosing your favorites is so easy with the KKP Studio iPad and app.  You can categorize every single image into a yes, maybe or no.  This helps to decide on what you'd like big.  But I do have clients who love them all and can't choose.  Image boxes, albums and books are great ways to get ALL of your images.

My goal is that you are 100% pleased with not only your photos from your session but also your experience from beginning to end.💕Kim

Classic | Starkville, Mississippi Newborn Photographer

Your babies make my heart happy...  just sharing a little joy on this last Saturday before Christmas.  I love the simplicity of newborn photography.  I want you to look at your prints years from now and see nothing but the absolute miracle that is your new baby."For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb." Psalm 139:13

Product Spotlight | Mississippi Newborn, Child & Family Photographer

My last product spotlight was for the fabulous heirloom leather albums that Kim Kelley Photography offers.  This time I want to show you the piece that is probably the nearest and dearest to my heart.  And that is mounted prints/wall art!  (Clients receive 30% off any mounted prints/wall art - 11x14 and larger added to album purchases.)Prints sized 8x10 and larger come mounted on styrene for quality and durability.   All prints provided by Kim Kelley Photography are printed on slightly textured silk paper (see images below).  This texture makes them resistant to fingerprints which is a feature that I LOVE!  It is my hope that you will cherish your portraits and pass them down through the generations. Now, what should you do with your mounted wall art?  Smaller 8x10 prints can sit on a shelf or easel but I highly recommend framing your wall art (11x14 and larger).  Prints that are mounted don't require glass.  In fact, I would personally suggest NOT using glass with your mounted portraits.  I know you've all seen your grandparents' framed photo and what has happened over the years?  Typically part of it is stuck to the glass.   This is what can happen when a print touches glass.   If you've purchased a frame with glass, the print that you choose for it should also be matted in order to protect the print. (Hand torn fine art prints require glass and therefore matting as well.  Look for those in the next Kim Kelley Photography product spotlight!)   Cummings Wood Products offers beautiful quality framing options for your silk mounted wall art.  And best of all, your portraits are ready to hang!
