Taking a Break...

Gosh, I've been busy.  But do you know what?!  I LOVE it!  I wouldn't change a thing.  I've been proofing tonight and was just thinking...  A client recently sent me this:

THANKS!!!  You are a wonderful photographer who really knows how to bring out the best in your subject.... You found your gift that God gave you - never stop using it!!!  (and you can quote me on that. :))

Thank you, Misty!  Our church service today was all about being thankful.  And I am.  First of all, I thank God for allowing me to do what I do.   And I'm still not sure about "wonderful"!  I leave a session and feel blessed...  almost like I had nothing to do with getting a certain shot.  And I really didn't...  God is with me every step. I know that.  I grew up watching my younger brother sing and feeling like there was really nothing I was good at.  And now I'm a photographer... goofing off with kids and chatting with parents.

Does it really get any better than that?! 

I love, love, LOVE what I do.
