Timeless
Ok. I don't even know where to start with this session. I ended up with lots of personal favorites!!! Because as you all know, I don't always have to have the big cheesy smiles. I like it real. :) We started out at Wood Institute and Drew was SO very unimpressed by me. ha ha ha... So we decided to head back to his house and just let him play. {Gracie... you're a natural. You'd make a beautiful photograph no matter where we were!}
Love the 50's feel of the image above!
This session reminded me that I'm doing what I need to be doing! I didn't have to shoot their family and rush off somewhere. I don't like putting a time frame on a session... you just never know how long it might take young children to warm up to you. I'm so thankful that we were able to go back to their house. Some of my favorites were taken right when we got there! And then at the end, we were able to capture some moments that I *love*! I know it's tiring for the parents too, but I'm so glad that you two hung in there, Angela & Beau! I hope you enjoy the preview! :)
Of course, I have different reasons for being drawn to each image. I love the vintage feel of this one with Mom & Dad in the background...
