Y'all...  I'm going to be very honest here.  Shane and I stopped shooting weddings last year (aside from the occasional 1 or 2 per year).  And about 6 months ago, I had decided that this would be my last year to shoot senior sessions.  And then it happened... I have had a FLOOD of seniors and I've had the BEST time.  I've made friends and met the nicest, coolest folks.  Did I mention lately that I LOVE what I do?!  ♥  And I would have laid in a bed of 1000 ants for this shot.  Oh wait, I did that.  haaaa... It wasn't quite 1000 but this beautiful Class of 2017 Senior was worth it!

There were lots of sweet kisses during this session but I think this wins as the most sweetness I've seen in one photograph.  It wasn't scripted as in I didn't say, "Ok Parker, you kiss Walker and Walker, you kiss Trae."  It just happened.  And I absolutely ADORE it.  <3  Isn't baby Trae gorgeous?!  I mean, look at those sweet lips.  I could just squeeze him.

This is what I love.  I spent years (literally) trying to define my style.  Most of the time I was just copying something that I had seen that looked neat.  (Does the use of the word, neat, make me sound old?!!  After all, this is #theyearof40.) ;)  I realize now after almost 13 years as a photographer, that this is me.  Simple.  I don't love tons of props and busy photographs.  I love shots that focus on your family, your brand new baby or your graduating Senior.  Because really, there won't be much time between newborn and Senior.  Babies grow in a flash...  and I'm honored to help you capture this sweet moment.
