• 5:20 Alarm is beeping.
• 5:24 I really need to get up.
• 5:28 I have to get a shower before Shane gets up to get ready for work.  {Crawl reluctantly out of bed}
• 5:35 Standing in the shower and I'm mad because it's early and I'm tired.  I want to go back to bed.  And then I realize...

I'm incredibly blessed to be able to get out of my bed at 5:28.  I walked to the shower.  I'm getting up to take care of my family.  I fix Shane's lunch for the day.  I have a wonderful husband.  I have 3 precious children who brighten my days.  And then I'm thankful for what I have and getting up wasn't so bad after all.  {thank you, Lord for the reminders}

Family is so important!  And I'm always happy to shoot family sessions!  I had fun with this one... kids have such personality and these were no exception!  Here are a few of my personal faves...

Seriously.  It's been almost 2 weeks since I've written.  Yep, it's been that crazy.  So much going on and you'll be hearing about it all within the next few weeks.  I'm working on Christmas sessions (it will be here before we know it!!), 09 Seniors, Mini-session at the Christmas Market, and the list goes on...

I'm also trying to catch up on sessions (proofing) and 2 August Weddings!  I love weddings.  That is something I never thought I'd be saying.  But with every wedding we do (Shane is my second-shooter), we feel like our family grows.  We've been blessed to have fabulous relationships with our brides & grooms (and we thank you for that)! 

And speaking of family, I had SUCH fun with this one!  Laura, it was so nice meeting your family...  Even with the heat and humidity so awful, I had a great time!  All of the kids are as cute as can be!!  And your new house and yard is beyond fabulous!!

Shane and I shot a wedding this weekend.  We had so much fun!!  I have so much to say about it... (the weather was perfect, the bride was beautiful!!) But I'll try not to ramble on too much.  For now, here is a little peek (a night time shot of the couple heading to The Verandah for the reception)...
