Blessings

Count your blessings.

1. baby laughter
Sadie

2. a wonderfully supportive husband who takes an interest in my work {and who is fabulous himself! Note the copyright on the image above!}  :)

3. children who share the word of God with adults {bless them... Savannah & Alex}

Lots happening this week... Savannah and Alex start back to school on Wednesday!  Savannah will be in the 4th grade and Alex will be in the 1st!  Wow.  And Sadie will be 6 months old on Wednesday!  It's wild... I remember how I was SO looking forward to when she turned 3 months and the colic would get better.  And now she's double that!  :)  Time flies, as you well know.  Capture those moments.

I'd be more than happy to do that for you!  But if you're not ready to hire a photographer, take your camera and get out in the yard with your children.  Capture those "kid moments".
The fun, carefree ones...

Catch the laughter.

It's contagious.

A Little Different

I'm trying something a little different.  I'm always changing things, I know.  I guess it's because I'm continuously trying to define my style.  What says "Kim Kelley Photography" to you?  {Feel free to comment and answer this! :)}  Am I simple?  Am I colorful?  Am I silly?  Sometimes serious?  Am I fun?
I think I'd like to be a little of all of that!  :)

Closeups are always my favorites!  So, I'm bringing them to you closeup!  I have a thing for eyes.  Well... eyes and baby feet, actually.  And chubby baby legs and you know that fine hair on newborns... all over their backs and shoulders?  That too!  But back to eyes... take a look at this handsome man, Carson!

Total Sweetness!  :)

A World of Discovery

I've said it before... Childhood is about discovery and learning.  And for me... so is photography.  I love, LOVE it!  It is by the grace of God that I'm able to work at something I love.  I was experimenting with new conversions and loved the feel of this image...

{*edited to add that it would appear that I overuse the word, love!  When you read the word, love... FEEL the excitement.}

This is a black & white vintage conversion and it SO fits the mood of the image, I think.  Of course, it's probably because Layne is absolutely adorable!  Look at that hair and that sweet expression!!  He and Sadie are two peas in a pod!  More of Layne's session to come later...

:)  Happy Saturday!
