I'm not sure where to start.  I've wanted to say something and I've been unable to form the "correct" words so I suppose I'll just start talking...

I didn't post last week.  On Saturday, Shane and I went to a funeral.  The sweet baby boy was 4 months old.  He was just 4 months old.  At the funeral home friday night, I saw many, many pictures of Colton.  He looked like a happy baby... there were countless pictures of him with his big brothers.  I can only imagine how precious those pictures are now to Mommy & Daddy. 

I'm so very thankful that his family has those pictures of him.  Memories of him...

It made me realize how many times I'm looking for that "perfect" shot... all those precious moments I pass up because the background isn't "good enough".  All the times I've put off that family shot because our outfits don't coordinate. 

Please, please hug your babies.  Take pictures every chance you get.  And pray for the Crowley family.  I know they would appreciate your prayers...

Well, not really.  ha ha.  I love it when sessions aren't all serious.  Kids are kids and I love capturing them doing what they do best...  having fun/laughing!  And I mean the real kind... not the sit-down-and-smile for Ms. Kim kind.  :)
