Fun Was Had!

Je1 That's my goal...  Fun was had.  It was SO nice to meet Ms M-A, Mr H & Mr S!  {and their Mommies too!}  It had been a while since I'd shot a session at House of Memories in Tomnolen, MS.  It's a beautiful place and I got to photograph beautiful children!!

Well, fun was part of our goal.  This session was all about H and being TWO! :)  {I have more favorites that I must share with you later...}  We also threw in a shot of him and his big sister.  And then as you can see below, we got to photograph their cousin too!

This first image {below} is quickly becoming a popular version for my clients.  It's an antique-looking blend using my mocha conversion along with a little added color.  And I thought it went perfectly with the antique car at House of Memories!

Naturals!

Ca1 They were naturals in front of the camera!!  B & P loved to pose for me and I had lots of fun with their family!  We played on the steps, ran in the grass and daddy even let them swing from a tree branch (fun, fun, FUN!).  I hope you enjoy the preview, Charla!

Ah Ha Moment

I think that's what Oprah calls them.  Love Oprah.   I usually have one of those during a session.  It's  when I hear the shutter click and I feel like I've gotten a *me* kinda shot.  You know... one of those that you just know you'll love and you hope the parents feel the same way.

God *so* knows what's best for me.  Yep, I knew that already but I guess we all need gentle reminders here and there.  I had secretly hoped that the sun would go behind the clouds as I was driving to Ava's house.  I just thought that if we had good light but less sunshine, it would be better.  Boy, was I wrong!

"For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things."  1 John 3:20

My Ah ha moment for today...

I thank God for the sunshine!  For the one in the sky and the little sunshines who hold the key to our hearts.
