Last '08 Senior

Cd1 Christy was my last Senior of this year.  I can't believe the next Seniors I shoot will be the class of '09!  I remember being 10 years old and thinking about how far into the future 2010 was.  ha ha... Not so far into the future now!

We had fun going here and there!  A huge thank you to Ms. Peggy & Ms. Carol for letting us shoot in their gorgeous yards!  I had fun, Christy!!  :)

Expressions, Expressions!!

Mm1 I love, love it!  Avery was SO very expressive.  I'll admit... I was a little worried.  I didn't know if she would like me at first.  But she warmed up and we had a GREAT time!

It's one reason I never want to rush your session.  I never know how kids will react to me.  After all, I was a *painfully* shy child.  I understand.  And when I say painfully, I mean it... I cried when a stranger even looked at me.  I want us to have plenty of time to play and talk and get to know one another.  I rarely schedule sessions back to back... I want to have a little extra "getting to know Avery/getting to know Ms Kim" time.

I think it worked...  :)

I hope you enjoy your preview, Miranda!  And believe it or not, we have many, many more sweet expressions!  It was SO hard for me to pick my favorites...  Avery is precious!

Growing Up

Tb1 I've gotten to see Reid as he's growing up...  He came to me as a baby and now he's turning into a little man!  He's walking on little wobbly legs and to think...  the next time I see him for pictures, we'll probably be running to keep up with him!  It's part of what I love about my job!!  Well... that and ability to act silly and NOT feel funny about it!  I do what I need to do for a laugh!!  lol...  Tb2

But I must admit, only Reid's mommy could get him to laugh like this {see above!}.  He's a Momma's boy...  it brings back such memories of Alex when he was born.  Those little boys just love their Momma's!
