I haven't mentioned this on my blog yet, but I'm working on my new office/waiting area! Hopefully, it will all come together by 2011! And today, my first wall display arrived. I can't believe I have never ordered these sizes of the SAME print. As a photographer, I say MAKE an impact! Bigger IS better. Seriously, I keep walking by these prints propped on my dining room wall and saying, "Wow!". And to think *I*, the photographer, almost didn't order the 20x24 because I didn't think there would be a huge difference in the size of it and the 16x20. There is actually a substantial difference. Wanna see???
What is the moral of the story, you say? Go BIG! Make a statement. Because your life IS Art. ♥

So, here is a precious baby girl for you... :)
I was talking to a friend the other day and wanted to share some of that conversation with you... I'm somewhat ashamed to admit this since I am a photographer. But sometimes at family get-togethers, I leave my camera at home. {blushing} Yes, it's true! I always feel the need to edit {and make them what I already see in my head} even the family snapshots. So when my workload is heavy, I just leave the camera. BUT, I'm getting better!!! Yay! It's those little things that are SO worth capturing! And one of the things I regret after Daddy died last year was that I didn't have a picture of him and Sadie together... not the first one. :( I was looking through old pics and found this one from a zoo trip in 2007. I'm SO glad that I have this shot... Alex, Cierra & Chase have grown SO much! They look like such babies here!!
So my point is this... take your camera with you! Take pictures even when you don't feel like it! One day you will be glad that you did. Your babies grow up way to fast. You already know it! And you won't ever look back at a picture of them and regret taking it. But you will regret the ones not taken...
