I have the BEST clients!  The tiny ones AND their parents!  Thanks to all those who have been SO patient with me before, during and after Alex's surgery.  Hopefully he is on the mend and we'll get back into a routine soon.I have the most precious babies and children to share with you this week!  I can't adequately describe to you how happy and peaceful these babies make me feel.  And we'll start with Ms Madeline who is the prettiest little thing.  💕  I ADORE the shots that are all about baby... not a ton of props but just this little beauty...

"Babies are like little suns that in a magical way, bring warmth, happiness and light into our lives." –Kartini Diapari-OengiderYes, they are!  I know my days are brighter when I get to snuggle this preciousness!  I put a lot of ME into your session, the editing of your images and even the printing of your keepsakes!  ESPECIALLY the printing of your keepsakes.  {Check back tomorrow for a little comparison of prints and the story behind them!}.I love people.  especially little ones. ♥I was a photographer long before I could actually speak the words, “I am a photographer”.  I truly realized my love of photography when I had children of my own.  I photographed them constantly, read a ton and began this business in 2004.  I’m still learning…  still reading and taking online classes and watching videos in order to improve.   I’m so grateful that Kim Kelley Photography has grown in the way that it has.  I’m blessed beyond measure when clients welcome me into their homes and families.  You are never just an appointment or a session to me.  We are in this together…  creating photographs that never go out of style.My goal is to capture personalities.  While props and accessories are great for added texture and feel, you {the subject} are the primary focus!  I take a simple, classic approach when it comes to capturing your special moments. My goal is to make this moment in time last for years to come.  I have a simplistic style when it comes to newborns, families and high school seniors.  I want your images to be all about YOU.Another of my goals as your photographer is to create art for your home whether it be images for your mantle or prints for your living room wall.   Are you running out of wall space?  I can't wait to share new product samples that are coming soon! {stay tuned!}

Fall is here ♥ Starkville, Mississippi Child Photographer

I love having these two for a session... always a fun and playful time and they have the sweetest mother/daughter relationship ever.  ♥I know that I've shared a lot on Facebook about my new studio.  And I keep promising real (not cell phone) pics of it.  I'm going to try to begin to make that happen tomorrow and take pics before my sessions begin.  Let me just share with you how prayers are being answered in my life.  A year or so ago, I was beaten down...  tired.  The photography industry has a way of doing that to you after all the years.  I LOVE meeting people, snuggling babies and hanging out with your kids and photographing them but the business side of it is hard.  I was not sure that this was where God wanted me.   But I started to pray...  and not that business would be good and I could continue doing what I LOVE but I prayed that God would put me wherever he wanted me... anywhere and doing anything.  I would follow.Well, things started to happen.  My kids are getting older and we just have too much space in this house.  I know, crazy right?!  (My husband might think I'm a little crazy too.  I could probably live in a tiny house.  Yes, even with 3 kids.  I mean, teenagers want out of the house any chance they get, right?!  They have way more of a social life than I do.)  Thoughts of selling the house brought up big questions about photography.  I've worked at home for 12 years.  Our old house is big and I've always had room for an office and studio.  Plus our yard was great for sessions all Spring, Summer & Fall.  I had NO idea where I would shoot outdoors.  So then I get a message from Danielle asking if I'd be interested in looking at some space to sublease from them.  (The Webster Athletic Club is awesome, by the way!  I totally need gym buddies to keep me motivated just as soon as the busy season is under control.}  There was a good bit of work to be done with the studio space but without a doubt, it's the answer to our prayers.  I have natural light.  It's IN town and there are WOODS!!I was crazy happy and overwhelmed by God's love and grace when I first sat at the computer and stared at these images taken right outside the doors of my studio.  I am so thankful.
