Wow.  Sometimes I really feel like my head is spinning.  No, I mean really!  I feel like my life is zooming by!  I'm blessed beyond measure.  Really I am.  I'm somewhat speechless... it's all in there.  It's just hard to get it out! ha... I really don't feel worthy of this life that God has given me. Happy Birthday, Hannah!!  {still your birthday for one more hour as I'm writing this}  :)  We first met in August 2005!  Yes... 2005... more than 5 years ago.  I was trying to build a photography business back then.  I had been shooting friends and family for about a year when I got a call from Stephanie.  I almost cancelled our appointment.  I had some personal issues the night before and was having a very "off" kinda day.  But taking pictures of sweet Hannah just MADE my day!  It was awesome and Stephanie was SO nice!  It was the beginning of my journey to meeting new clients... new friends.  Because really, I love chatting with the parents almost as much as I love shooting the kids! :)  Sorry parents, you just can't top "cute" and "loaded with personality"!I'm so glad that I kept that appointment back in August of 2005.  Stephanie & Hannah really marked the beginning of my journey... my first "stranger clients" as I often refer to them!  And now, great friends!!! I'm so thankful for God's plan in my life. Hannah {still 3}Hannah {almost 9!}Hannah & Lily

Imagine our surprise when green shoots started coming out of the ground all in front of our house.  Then they grew and grew over the next few days and became this: ♥ ~kim

Thank you, God for the flowers.  We SO enjoy their beauty.  Shane, the kids and I were headed to a birthday party Saturday afternoon and we were driving about 20mph on the gravel road (Shane had just washed the truck!).  It gave us a chance to really *see* things... to see God's creation!  And right there in the woods were the most georgeous yellow flowers (probably weeds) but still beautiful!!!  If we hadn't taken the time to slow down, we'd have missed them.  Thank you, God for reminding me that sometimes I need to slow down.Thank you, God for the wind!  And its prefect timing...Thank you, God for the trials in my life.  Because of those rough times and the tears and sadness, I'm nearer to You!What would you like to thank Him for today?
