Actually, I wouldn't have it any other way.  There are always lessons to be learned in life... with God as our teacher. Our internet was out and I spent Easter weekend with some of the family... it was nice!  God tells us to slow down sometimes... and I'm trying to listen!  Back to work as usual today and I have to share these gorgeous girls with you... I had a great time with your family, Kerri!

So, what have I been up to?  These last few weeks have been crazy, busy!  I shot the daycare, the dance recital, head shots and business photos and had a spring photo day all mixed in with my weekly regular sessions!  Craziness, I tell ya!  But I have LOVED it!  I will try to update my blog every chance I get!  I had to share these two from the recital.  There are many, many more to come but I just had to let you in on a little of the FUN! :)This message was meant for me today so I think I'll share... maybe it was meant for you too?

I'm editing and marking things off my to-do list when I look up at the top of my planner to see the weekly quote: "Oh, the joy in seeing a fragile flower break through what just a day ago or two seemed barren ground still hard with frost, for in God's world, no life is lost." A perfect little reminder that this life isn't the end and sent to me on the week of the 2 year anniversary of Daddy's death... So very thankful tonight that this life is just a detail...Have a great Wednesday!   :)

That's what I ♥ about my job... well just a small part of what I love.  Capturing the love and laughter.  God has blessed me beyond measure!  I look at my family... Shane and the kids and I'm overwhelmed sometimes.  So thankful that we are a part of each other's lives.  And I feel the love when it's captured in my camera... doesn't matter if it's a couple that's been married for 50 years, newlyweds or sisters or brothers.   And as I look at these images, I can't stop singing the Daughtry song..."All that i'm after is a life full of laughterAs long as i'm laughin' with youI'm thinkin' that all that still matters is love ever after"I'm SO thankful that you all let me share in your love AND laughter!  :)
