It's such a blessing... the kids... my job!  All of it!  And I try to thank God for it each day!  I had lots of fun with Claude, Edwin, Patsy & Estra!  Besides being beautiful children, they have GREAT personalities... a little shy at times and SO funny! I was reading a book a few weeks ago and there was a quote that is SO true!  I wanted to share it...  "The soul is healed by being with children." ~Fyodor Dostoevsky  It reminded me of times in my life when I've been down and how my job has lifted me back up.  This was especially true when my Daddy was sick and then died...  My little clients were SO good for my soul!  So today I challenge you to look at your life and those tiny blessings (the simplest of things... a clean kitchen, fresh cut grass, the sunshine!) and thank the Lord for them!  And now a sneak peek...  :)And a sample 12x12 collage...

Well, Sadie is usually my model but she was at daycare so Elmo had to step in for her.  He was happy to "model" my new "floor" prop in the studio...And much to Elmo's surprise, he had a GIANT cupcake at his session!  It wasn't Elmo's brithday, but it IS what you'll get at your First Birthday session with Kim Kelley Photography.   Giant pink cupcakes for girls and blue for boys...  at the end of your session to play in (and eat, of course!)...Yummy, Yummy!
