My baby… no, these images aren’t of my baby though I often refer to my client babies lovingly as “my babies”. I just couldn’t share my thoughts with you without including images. And these are some that I love! But back to my baby… this business IS my baby. For 15 years now. One of the first questions that I get asked is “How much are digital images?” or “Does that include digital images?” The truth is that I don’t sell them as a stand alone product. The matching digital image is included with any wall art purchase and they are all included with the purchase of an Heirloom Album.
When satisfaction is no longer guaranteed: When a client accepts the responsibility to produce prints, I can no longer warranty/guarantee my work. I’m only responsible up until the point I hand over the work to you. A USB or digital download feels unfinished to me. I have no control over whether it’s printed with a reputable company or whether the said company will alter the image in any way. I am just not a fan of so many of the popular consumer printing companies. I want to KNOW that you’re getting the absolute best from your session. A large part of a photographer’s work is in the final edits, cropping, etc… I don’t expect a client to know how to do that. It’s MY job… one that I certainly want to take care of for you.
